the adelaide nw3, beer gardenReviews/Awards

timeout logoA bit off the beaten track but well worth seeking out - just look for the big "A" sign - the Adelaide has a high-ceilinged bar warmed by terracotta walls, large round mosaic tables and intricate Moroccan-style metal lanterns. It's an appealing, not to say popular, mix - so much so that most nights there's stiff competition for the seating. We've never visited in summer but we imagine it's then that the pub really comes into its own courtesy of a large beer garden with a children's play area. Thai food is a speciality, and a mild yellow curry was one of the best we'd ever eaten.

"The Adelaide is a beautiful, art deco-style room with its own soundsystem and lighting. There's no feeling like discovering an unusual room and imagining it full of punters"
Ivor Denbina of Hampstead Comedy Club on moving the club to the Adelaide.

Customer Reviews
"This pub is fantastic. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It's not overpriced, the food is great and they have a non-smoking area! It's generally quite quiet so you can always get a seat and hear your friends chat. I'd recommend it to anyone." Allie W

"Hard to resist the Thai BBQ from the garden in summer." Charlie
