Blues Jam
Hosts Niall Kelly and Jim Ryan (of the Sunday jam at the legendary Ain’t Notin’ but the Blues Bar) are proud to present this regular Tuesday jam session. Get down and dirty, with some of the grooviest, bad ass mutha’s this side a the Atlantic. Musicians & singers step on up and let it all hang out. Listeners jump up, stomp your feet, shake your tail feather and let the blues wash over you like a Georgia storm.

Wednesdays

The Hampstead School of Latin Dance teach the Salsa

The candlelit tables and heat from the dancing give the upstairs venue the sexy atmosphere of a rustic, Havana dancehall. The Hampstead School of Latin dance has been offering classes to amateurs and professionals for the past 14 years. Whatever your level all are welcome to come and learn to dance together.

Traditional Irish Seisiun

Traditional Irish group Rosin Dubh host this popular weekly seisiun in the main bar. Musicians are welcome to bring your instruments and join in, all tribes welcome. A perfect way keep out of the rain this spring - great food, a perfect pint of Guinness & great music!

Behind the Mic
First Thursday of every month

A monthly showcase of new talent and established acts from all over the UK. Host Tony Dallas introduces an eclectic mixture of acts from the worlds of music, literature and stand up comedy in an intimate, relaxing and atmospheric setting.

Behind the Mic are fast making a name for themselves by hand-picking and presenting the most exciting and eclectic range of artists from London and beyond to showcase their varied modes of creative expression.

Eklectik

eklectik imageThis DJ party night held in the main bar at The Adelaide. Once every two months you will be treated to an eclectic mix of Afro Boogie, Soulful Latino, New Jazz, & Brazilian Sounds building up to House, Breakbeat, Broken Beats and Electro Funk, all blended seamlessly.

DJs include: Alex K (Detached, Read the Crowd); Mr Whisk (The Sound Gallery); Mark S (Sparkle Motion) + Guest DJ and percussionists.

Slowfoot

This monthly residency, in the upstairs venue, from experimental record label Slowfoot Records is proving a huge success. The small but immensely talented collection of artists, signed to or affiliated with, this label have, without fail, wowed audiences at each and every gig since Pest took to the stage early this year. From the world of electronica’s bright new spark Rob Logan to special guests Shape Moreton there is no questioning the quality and caliber of the acts.

Gig goers benefit from the intimate size of the venue but, as such, tickets are limited so advance booking is recommended.

In the main bar we have DJ Professor Stretch, Chris The “Meerkat” Conduit, DJ Slowfoot, DJ Merge, and other guest DJ's ‘on rotation. Taking it easy from 8-10pm then livening it up for the party people till midnight, our DJ’s offer up a mix of classic funk, rare groove, Classic 70’s & 80’s, dub, electronica, upbeat jazzy house to smooth Dn'B, Whatever the DJ is on you are sure to hear the best of their genre.
